STRUCTURAL DESIGN SERVICES

CIV Tech Associates has designed the structural systems behind hospitals, hostels, police infrastructure, and multi-storey housing across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad — engineering every building to withstand the region's seismic conditions while meeting budget and constructability requirements.

Structural Design

CIV Tech Associates

Structural design translates an architectural vision into a building that stands safely, economically, and for decades. CIV Tech Associates' structural engineering team has designed everything from a 60-room medical college hostel to G+7 apartment blocks in Islamabad, applying reinforced concrete and, where required, steel design solutions calibrated to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's elevated seismic risk.

Our structural teams work in close coordination with architectural and geotechnical colleagues from the earliest design stage, ensuring foundation systems, load paths, and material specifications are optimized together rather than resolved in isolation — an approach that has kept projects like the Torghar DHQ Hospital and the BISE Complex Swat on budget without compromising structural safety.

What We Offer

  • 01

    RCC and steel structural design

  • 02

    Seismic-resistant design for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's high-risk zones

  • 03

    Structural analysis and load calculations

  • 04

Foundation design — raft, pile, and isolated footing systems

  • 05

Multi-storey building design (G+3 to G+7 and above)

  • 06

    Structural drawings and BOQ preparation

  • 07

Structural assessment and review of existing buildings

  • 08

    Value engineering for cost-optimized design

OUR PROCESS

Building form, occupancy, and geotechnical inputs are used to establish design loads.

The structural system is analyzed for gravity, seismic, and wind loads using industry-standard software.

Member sizes, reinforcement detailing, and connection design are finalized into construction drawings.

Designs are cross-checked internally before issue, catching errors before they reach site.

Quantities and specifications are prepared to support accurate contractor bidding.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Given KP's location in a seismically active zone, all our structural designs incorporate seismic-resistant detailing appropriate to the site's risk classification.

Hospitals, education campuses, hostels, police infrastructure, government offices, and multi-storey residential apartments up to G+7.

Yes — we carry out structural assessments of existing buildings and can recommend strengthening measures where needed.

Yes. Most of our structural design assignments are delivered alongside full construction supervision, ensuring the design is executed correctly on site.

Through value engineering — reviewing member sizing, foundation type, and material specification against actual site and load conditions to avoid over-design while maintaining full code compliance.
