Overview
Sheen Kach is an earthfill irrigation dam with a parapet wall, 21 m high and 203 m long, with a gross storage capacity of 2,416 acre-feet across a 31.07 sq. km catchment. The design includes an ungated ogee spillway with a 29-cusec discharge capacity and an 8,071 ft PCC trapezoidal irrigation channel.
Holding a 55% share of the assignment, CIV Tech Associates delivered design review, technical sanction, and cost estimation; field investigations including geological mapping, sediment and hydrological analysis, and seismic assessment; and full supervision of construction, bill verification, and progress reporting.

Implementation Approach
With a 55% share in the assignment, CIV Tech Associates supervised construction of the dam body, spillway, and irrigation channel from January 2013 to June 2014, submitting monthly and quarterly progress reports throughout.

Sheen Kach Small Dam delivered reliable irrigation supply to farmland in FR Tank, supporting agricultural productivity in a previously water-constrained area.
