CIV Tech Associates provides feasibility studies and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) that give clients and financiers the technical, financial, and environmental clarity needed to move a project from concept to approval. Since 1988, our feasibility teams have assessed housing schemes, hydropower projects, dams, and public infrastructure across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, and Islamabad.
CIV Tech Associates
A feasibility study is the foundation every infrastructure project is built on — it determines whether a proposed scheme is technically sound, financially viable, and environmentally acceptable before a single rupee is committed to construction. CIV Tech Associates has carried out feasibility and environmental assessment work for provincial housing authorities, energy development organizations, and federal agencies, sizing projects ranging from 60-kanal institutional plots to 20,000-kanal master-planned townships.
Our feasibility teams work to the standards required by Pakistan's Environmental Protection Agency as well as international donor safeguard frameworks, having delivered Environmental Impact Assessments for hydropower schemes developed in joint venture with international partners including Germany's IEGHD and RSW International. Every feasibility study we produce is structured to feed directly into a project's PC-I, giving clients a document that satisfies both technical review and government approval requirements in a single package.
Pre-feasibility and detailed feasibility studies
Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Initial Environmental Examination (IEE)
Techno-economic viability and cost-benefit analysis
Site identification and comparative site assessment
Social and resettlement impact screening
Risk assessment and mitigation planning
PC-I preparation for public-sector project approval
Donor-compliant reporting to World Bank and ADB safeguard standards
Field visits, topographic data, and baseline environmental and social data are gathered for the proposed site.
Engineering options are evaluated against cost, constructability, and long-term viability.
Potential impacts are identified and assessed against regulatory and donor safeguard requirements.
Findings are shared with relevant departments and communities to refine the recommended option.
A consolidated feasibility report and PC-I are prepared for client and government approval.

Yes — we have designed and supervised construction of 40 mini/micro hydel stations ranging from 11 kW to 808 kW under the Access to Clean Energy Investment Program.
Yes. We provide contractor prequalification, evaluation, tender documentation, and design review of EPC contractor submissions.
We have worked on gravity concrete dams, concrete-faced rockfill dams, and gated diversion weirs, sized to the specific hydrology and topography of each site.
Yes — our scope on hydropower assignments typically extends through testing and commissioning of hydromechanical and electromechanical equipment ahead of grid connection.
